Turkey call!

Every year Tosa Cares distributes a frozen turkey to local families during our November distribution day (Saturday, November 23rd). This year we're reaching out to our community to offer the opportunity to pitch in for this great cause and donate a turkey! A $20 donation will purchase a single turkey, however donations of any amount are welcome.

Please help us reach our goal of 225 turkeys! Your donation will provide a family in need with a memorable Thanksgiving dinner to share with their loved ones.

Every dollar we can generate towards the cost of turkeys is another dollar we can instead use to stock our pantry and fill donation boxes with nonperishable food, fresh produce, and personal care items. Just as a reminder, we have zero administrative costs! All donations are used for purchases for the the pantry and your donation has a direct impact.

Items needed!

Do you have personal care items from traveling? Tosa Cares can use them.

Do you have Christmas decorations you no longer use. Tosa Cares can use the if delivered by November 18.

Drop off any of these items and nonperishable food items at Mt. Zion, 12012 W. North Ave Wauwatosa, WI 53226.  Use the parking lot door, straight ahead to the Tosa Cares barrel.

Trunk or Treat 2019!

Want to take your children trick-or-treating in a safe, fun environment while donating to a good cause? Come join us at our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat Event! Decorate the back of your car’s trunk with any theme (family appropriate), wear costumes and bring Halloween candy to pass out to those that come to see your decked-out trunk! If you don’t feel like participating, feel free to still bring your kids to trick-or-treat to all the car trunks. There will be Food Trucks and a few activities for children to do as well. This event does not cost anything; we just ask when you come you bring a non-perishable “treat” as a donation for the Tosa Cares Food Pantry.
